Hello! Welcome to the first of these updates.
Unfortunately I was unable to hit the time allocation I wanted to target for this release, but I do have something indeed!
- Behold, MUSIC and SOUNDS ( no adjustment setting though so *loud audio warning* potentially )
- Behold, the boat has MOTION ( motion subject to change )
- Behold, a dock with which you may INTERACT ( currently placeholder interaction, plans are planning )
- Behold, new lands to EXPLORE ( there is nothing in the abyss, not even invisible walls to stop you )
Sooooo, not much unfortunately, but I'd like to take the time to outline what I want to accomplish here with this project in the coming week:
- INTERACTIONS: I want a baseline interaction for the docks, I'm thinking fetch quests and menus.
- GAME LOOP: How dare I call this a fishing game when there are NO FISH????? I want to see fish next week at the latest, this weekend optimistically.
- MENUS: We deserve menus and settings! Anything less is uncouth!
I have the ideas fleshed out, it's just the time and methods that I have been lacking. My foresight tells me I will have a few problems with what I want to do, but that never stopped me as I am terrible at predicting the future!
That is all I have for now, expect incremental updates or one big update for this coming Friday / Weekend.
